Absolutely stunning in every department
Have just completed the game. I have been playing games for nearly 10 years and this is definitely the game of the year for me, if not one of the best games I have ever played. Absolutely stunning in every department, the gameplay is full of action packed sequences, great gameplay mechanics, stunning visuals in an array or environments and one of the best storylines/dialogue seen in a game to date. All of this and an outstanding soundtrack to support it. This is just the single player campaign, the multiplayer ensures this game will last for a long time, with fun well thought out online modes including COOP, so you can team up with friends and play through a whole new and different campaign.
This is a MUST BUY for anyone who owns a PS3 and if you don't already have a PS3 BUY ONE just for this game, it really is worth it.
5 stars all the way.
A True Classic
5 Star, 10/10, whatever you want to call it. This game is a true PS3 classic.
The graphics are incredible, there is no other word for it and the storyline is worthy of a hollywood all action blockbuster. Think Indiana Jones meets National Treasure. Having not played the first game I can't comment on improvements made from it, but I can say that this will be one of the best games you will ever buy.
I have only been playing it for a couple of days and I am hooked. You will find yourself going back to the single player again and again as well as a top quality multi-player. However the games strenghts are in its sheer depth in all areas. Too many games are re-hashes of older games wilth better graphics (Resident Evil 5) and although very good, they don't seem to have any real depth to them.
This keeps you involved and immersed for the entire time with clever uses of conversation between characters whilst in games and some cutscenes that are staggering both in terms of graphics and keeping the fast paced storyline going at break-neck speed.
Full Game Review - Uncharted 2
Well where do I start? This game has been hyped for quite some time, and a lot of games that get over hyped tend to leave us feeling a touch let down and dissappointed... not this time. Having almost completed the single player campaign (Ameican copy of the game) I feel I can give a realistic review on this game
Uncharted 2, featuring some familiar characters, and some new, is a totally action packed gaming experience from the word go. And it is one of the greatest crispest looking game to date, or most realistic at least.
It is simply stunning and leaves you jaw-dropped by the attention to detail of almost everything. One of the first things I noticed was the effects used when you walk through snow, it looks brilliant and it's the little tiny things like this that really add to the games great appearence. If you enjoyed Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, then you will love this. It is almost like controlling a movie star at times, this game is so cinematic that it is just as much fun to watch as it is to play. And with an excellent story line and plot you're sure to be entertained all the way through.
The controls are basically the same as the first Uncharted only more refined and responsive, and some of the sound effects and weapons are the same which gives previous uncharted players an instant at home feeling, but without feeling too familiar and samey... if that makes sense (you'll know what I mean when you play it). It seems that Naughty Dog have really pushed the boat out for this title and I doubt there will be many people who will dislike this game, OK it wont be to everyones taste, particularly one trick ponys that only play one genre, but certainly most PS3 owners will thoroughly enjoy playing this game. And with the added online multiplayer theres something for almost everyone. The co-op mode is superb fun and the online death matches arealso great, a very nice refreshing change.
I highly reccomend this game to any action platform game fan as you should really enjoy it. It has great replayability and the trophies are pretty easy too if you like to collect them. I hope this review has been helpful to you, if not please leave comments as to why it isn't for future reference. Thanks for Reading.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) Description
Nathan Drake is back, as gaming's most charismatic hero tries to solve the mystery of Marco Polo's last voyage (and earn himself a fortune in treasure at the same time). The original was one of the first games to really prove the power of the PS3, but this sequel is another huge leap forward.
The first game already mixed intense gunplay with precarious platform action, but this adds in new stealth elements and more flexible parkour style climbing controls. Your enemies have been upgraded as well, with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence that makes them just as agile and resourceful as you.
Always known for its stunning graphics, this sequel not only looks better but it's now much more dynamic, with fully destructible scenery in every level. Add-in all-new co-operative and competitive multiplayer and you've got one of the most exciting action adventures of the year.
- Cinematic action: Amazing third person action that genuinely feels like you're in your own action film, with gunfights, treasure hunting and even romance!
- New tactics: Use new stealth and parkour based tactics to tackle the newly enhanced artificial intelligence, with bad guys so realistic they even have simulated peripheral vision.
- 100% efficiency: Developer Naughty Dog claim the first game only used 30% of the PS3's power. With destructible environments and huge levels this is aims to max the console out.
- Friends reunited: For the first time you and two friends (as Sully and Chloe) can play together in the same game, with the brand new co-op mode.
- Uncharted territory: Also new is the competitive multiplayer, where you can play as either the heroes or villains in deathmatch and capture the flag games.
