Superb!
If you really need a remote for your PS2, this is the one to get. It costs a little bit more than the "unofficial" ones, but it is worth it. I have seen many of the cheap remotes, and the quality does not even come close to this. It also matches perfectly the lines of the PS2. Included is a DVD player version 2.10 upgrade. You will need a memory card with 2.2 MB available to install it. If you have one of the newer PS2 versions you won't need it since it is already installed in ROM. All in all a complete and superb remote solution.

If you have a new Ps2 it's a great deal.
Just a small point that needs to be mentioned due to what has been written in previous reviews. New Ps2s do NOT need any space on the memory card for the drivers, as they already come with version 2.10E. This makes the whole proposition more attractive, as you simply plug and play.

Nice, but what took them so long?
At last, after almost a full year, the official DVD remote is released. You wonder why it took so long, it should definately have been released at launch, if not bundled with the machine. After all, you have just paid £299 (well, I did anyway) and you wouldn't expect a stand alone DVD player to come with no remote, or one you had to have physically plugged in with a lead.

The remote is nice, nothing to get excited about really, it feels solid unlike some of the third party ones that have been released. The looks fit in with the PS2 well with the ridge around the outside. However, the master stroke is the CD that comes with it that you can download onto memory card. It gives you version 2.10 of the DVD player and although it takes up a massive 2.2MB of memory card space (over a quarter!) it gives you new functions like slow motion, 3-speed rewind/fast forward and, most usefully, an on-screen counter. The lack of a counter had annoyed me immensly about the original player.

If you already have a third-party remote, it's probably not worth shelling out - perhaps Sony has shot itself in the foot here by not releasing it earlier. However, it is well worth £20 if you are at all serious about using your black slab to play DVDs.

I am please to say that Nintendo have outdone themselves yet again and come up with an excellent peice of cutting edge technology with the Balance Board and a fun and effective peice of software with the Wii Fit excersise games.

One thing which is quite a surprise is how fast the Balance Board goes through bateries. I only owned my copy of Wii Fit for a couple of days and the Balance Board seemed to have eaten quite a considerable chunck of juice.

So I decided to have a little hunt around and see if I could find a powersaving solution to the battery problem.

Luckily enough it didn't take long to come accross this little rechargable battery kit from Madcatz, who have always been well know for their high quality products.

The battery pack is very compact and fits nice and flush with the base of the Balance Board. In total you will usually get a good 8-10hours of play depending on which Wii Fit games you play.

Once the battery pack life is low, just simply plug the power cord into the base socket & stick the USB connector into the back of your Wii and you'll be good to go again in a few hours.

If you own a Wii Fit Balance Board and want to save cash on batteries, this is definitely the perfect solution for you!

Saved over £10
I bought this a few weeks ago and have saved over £10. It works as well as the ones that cost £15 in the shops. I would recommend this item

However, I then used a USB port in my laptop and it worked immediately! So, before you send this product back, please try your PC or Laptop to charge it. It works brilliantly and saves buying batteries.

I was looking for a compact but presentable case for my Turquoise Ice coloured DS Lite. This is a nice product, looks a bit like a filofax case. The exterior of the case is well made. Inside however, the finishing is poor and the holder for the games looks a bit like an afterthought. The cloth that holds the stylus looks like a piece of bandage. A little disappointing considering how good it looks from the photo. All that said and done though, I find it does it job well and was good value for money.

A perfect companion
Having two children, we've had our fair share of DS cases over the last few years, and this is by far the best.
Its chunkily made, easy to use, and my kids can't forget to take their case anymore!!
My 5 year olds case is two months old and already quite scratched, but I would rather replace the case than the DS.
The magnetic clasp is strong and secure, there is room for three additional games (albiet a tight fit), and a stretchy stylus holder with spare stylus. All of the functions of the DS are still accessible although if on charge you have to leave the case open.
There are plenty of colours to choose from and the design is smart enough for an adult yet funky enough for the most fussiest of teenagers.
I would thoroughly recommend this ... so much so that all of my nieces and nephews got a different coloured case for Christmas and they're all thrilled.

pro v case
Love the quality of this case, colour is great and very compact, however, the design is seriously flawed in that it is designed to hold an extra stylus and 3 games, once these are in place the magnet catch does not hold as the case is not big enough! Still pleased with it and just accept you can not carry extra stylus and only two games but a bit like a tea pot that does not pour properly how did they get this basic thing so wrong?!

barely worked
Well maybe it was a faulty one, but it sort of worked, but very badly. Press a button a few times and eventually something happened.
I have since binned it and bought the official Sony one, which for little extra money is bluetooth and fully functional as a gamepad! I would steer well clear...

Perfect for programming your universal IR remote control
As others have said, the actual remote control is not exactly a work of art - badly designed and unresponsive, which really makes you think of it as being next to useless. However, that's not why you ought to buy this - you ought to buy this for the IR dongle that you plug into your PS3 and to use the rubbish remote once (and only once) to program your universal remote so that all of your kit is still controlled via a single remote.

As it turns out one of my universal remote's in-built set of IR codes for a Sony DVD player actually worked all of the transport commands (play, FF, chapter+-, etc), and all I had to was teach it the cursor control and a couple of others - the whole process took less than 10 minutes and the Logic remote is now buried in a drawer. The universal remote also now works the main PS3 menu screens, so as long as the PS3 is turned on you can browse through the menus, go to the PS3 store, etc., all from the comfort of one remote control

Awful remote but good to use with universal remote
This is extremely poorly made and the remote is useless. However, it's very good to use with infra-red universal remotes such as the Logitech Harmony series.

It is now known by the Logitech Harmony database so just add a new device called "Logic3 PS3 Remote" and you'll all set.

Very Useful
Having bought an ipod and finding that it didn't connect to my computer, I purchased this USB 2.0 cable which connects my ipod directly to my PC. It arrived promptly and now I am able to transfer music quickly to my ipod. It was also a lot cheaper than buying it on alternative sites, where the delivery costs were excessive.

Excellent quality but does not appear to work with the Nano
This lead is excellent build quality - as good as if not better than the lead that came with my iPod. Unfortuately, it does not appear to work with my iPod Nano. I've not tried it on any other iPod.

Brilliant Product & Price RECOMMEND
At first i was sceptic of buying the product.
It seemed 'to good to be true' but i ordered it.
When it finally arrived (a bit late) it was absolutely brilliant. Can't fault it.
Works exactly as the OEM Apple Sync Cable. The connector does feel a bit plasticy. But hey, you cant complain for £00.05 (+P&P).
I would defiantly recommend the product.
Don't buy the Apple one at a rip off price when you can get this one for next to nothing, and it works exactly the same!

6 in 1 Sports Utility Pack (Wii)

Good fun, well worth the money
Before buying I struggled to make a decision about this product because of some of the misleading reviews, I hope my comments help.
One review said that when you fit the golf club attachment to your wii controller it would be the wrong way round, I was worried about this possible problem but it is absolute rubbish and I would ignore this incorrect comment. We did not have any such problem.
I do not recall this being mentioned in the product description but as an option you can have the tennis racket attachment rim light up when you are playing (requires two triple a batteries), this was an added bonus and looked good.
Overall I would say that these attachments can aid game play slightly but more than that they do add to the fun and realism of playing the games and I would definitely recommend to all wii owners.
Note:- I would warn that Argos sell a similar sports utility pack that is much more expensive, i would advise not to purchase this as the quality is poor in comparison to this one from Amazon. Also if you do buy the version from Argos, and you are not happy, you will not get a refund as they have a laughable policy on this kind of product where they will not refund you unless the product is faulty.

Brilliant Product
I was abit worried from the previous reviews about ordering this 6 in 1 pack. How wrong the other reviewers were, the pack is amazingly good!

Maybe this pack does not appeal to a middle aged man playing the Wii by himself, but for the family i can think of nothing better than this pack!

I Was playing for hours with the children and they seemed to love the new add-ons. A very good purchase got my money's worth here.

A must have for Wii Sports!
In my opinion the Wii Sports compilation game is the best we have for the Wii and this sports pack absolutely adds to the feeling that you are actually "in" the game! Particularly the tennis racket! We ended up buying another pack so me and my husband could both have a racket each! Well worth the money! The baseball bat is particularly satisfying to swing around too!

Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote (Xbox 360)

Useful but not essential
This remote is a slick piece of kit, and it's very easy to use. However, having used it for a couple of days I am left wondering how essential it really is. Sure, I can navigate through TV channels and the XBox 360 at the touch of a button, but since it doesn't have an AV button on there I still have to use my regular remote to get to the console screen in the first place (making the TV side of things pretty useless).

If you are considering this item, you probably use your 360 as a DVD player on top of a games console. If this is you then I would recommend the product; it puts a stop to fiddling around with the controller and speeds up the whole process. This is especially useful for those with the HDDVD drive add-on (probably why they included it in the kit).

The bottom line is that if you don't watch DVDs on your console too often and can make do with the controller, then do so. If you're a gadget freak like myself and want to make your life ever so slightly easier, then go for it.

Universal Media Remote...not universal.
Whilst the Universal Media Remote is well made & designed, it is not explained anywhere on the packaging or product description that it is not compatible with all televisions sets. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way after purchasing it & attempting to tune it to my television set, which is a newly purchased Bush LCD HD TV, so I knew it was not because of an outdated TV set, after I enquired on the xbox website I discovered that not all television brands are compatible with the remote.

The control is well made, looks cool & the functionality of it does appear to be excellent, but before buying I'd advise you to check out the list of compatible television brands at http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/xbox360/howto/peripherals/howto-peripherals-universalmediaremote.htm

FANTASTIC PIECE OF KIT!
This is pretty essential if you want to kick back and enjoy DVDs, music and stream media fom your 360. It is designed well to match the 360 console, has all needed fuctions and doesn`t put a dent in your pocket at the price it is selling for. If that wasn`t enough, the buttons are backlit as well so you can navigate through functions in dim light. All in all, a great piece of kit from microsoft.

This is an absolute bargain!!! I needed to update my live and i was intrested in getting the camera anyway.... so when i saw tis i thought.... has to be a catch.....

The Camera is a great piece of kit!! Easy to use and some decent features, the ability to send picture messages, change your gamercard, have video conversations, live video feed during games like Uno.... but best of all is the face mapping , seen in rainbow six vegas, which is obviously going to become a regular on up and coming games... and it works!! .... i was sceptical... i had an eyetoy for the ps2... and on tony hawks underground face mapping was available using the eyetoy... it was dreadful.... you looked like a gargoyle, or had eyes and mouths in wrong places, and was a complete waste of time!!! But this works... and is so simple... select face map.. take 2 pics (front and side) wait 30 seconds...and there you are, your face on your character and it looks brilliant!!!

And it works on my laptop as a webcam too... no daft cd's to load somthnig that you need to load another thing that you need to get it working... plug in .. select in on you c-drive and there you have it!!! The quality is great and look at the camera itself looks fantastic... i couldn't believe the size when i got it out the box... its tiny, nothing like the HUGE stupid eye toy.... this sits nicely on the top of your xbox

Xbox live is a must.... simple as that..... dont contemplate buying it... dont moan about the price..... cos with this.. your getting it free.. just say your buying a camera and a head set.. and hey, you get some free xbox live.. no worries!!!

Cant reccomend this package enough, as ive said it really is a bargain!! Everything you need to enjoy the most out of your 360!!!

Not much yet, but the potential...
That this came packaged with 12 months of Xbox Live Gold membership, a few microsoft points and a couple of free XBLA games makes it an absolute bargain. When I bought this it was £49.99, which compared to letting my current Xbox Live subscription auto renew online, meant that I was getting the camera for less than ten quid. (If you have recently renewed your membership online then simply use the voucher in the box to extend it from one to two years before you need to renew again - the same applies to any XBox Live Gold vouchers)

Keeping this short and sweet the camera does what I expected. It's quite small, but it didn't need to be big and it has a nice long cable so you can find that optimum place to stand it. Picture quality is pretty good. Video chatting with "Friends" also gives you the opportunity to remove the weird looking ones from your list! (CAUTION : If you are weird looking then you may lose friends by buying this product!). The ability to take pictures of yourself and surroundings and to message your XBL Friends with them can also generate a certain degree of correspondence!

Unfortunately there is not much out there that makes good use of the camera yet. The bragging rights in C&C3:Tiberium Wars and scanning your face onto your character in multiplayer Rainbow Six:Las Vegas were for me the main reasons currently for buying it (after all I'm sure we all want virtual replicas of ourselves at the wrong end of automatic weapons fire). Definitely not disappointed.

Out of Date XBox Gold Subscription
We received this and the Xbox Live vision is brilliant. Unfortunately the 12 Month Gold Subscription expired in 2007 which is not a lot of good considering it is now 2008. I wish I had noticed when we had received the goods but my daughter's xbox subscription has only just run out and we were going to use this but obviously we cannot.
VERY DISAPPOINTED....

Great picture,easy setup,but...
This is a great little webcam. The picture quality is the best I've seen.Software is very good.But is wasn't all plain sailing. It didn't work when delivered. This was a fault with it's USB connector plug.After replacement,worked great.Sound pickup is excellent. The cam has 6 leds - note that these only work at a very limited distance, you cannot use this in the dark. It has little effect on the picture illumination really. However, because the cam has a light sensor and autoswitches the leds on,you find that the leds are on most of the time,even in what is sufficient light for a normal picture.Accordingly,it is usually disconnected to avoid annoyance of the leds. Good price for what you get.

3-in-1 Media Remote (PS3)

It's ok ...
To start with my review, as one previewer before said, "does everything it says", BUT there are still a few points which makes it not a 5 star accessories.

First of all, be aware that even if it looks matte on the photo it's glossy black, which means that every fingerprint is clearly visible. Also, as the buttons are rubber instead of plastic, it's difficult to polish the surface.

The top panel is easy to slide but has no well defined endpoints. So it can be moved about a tenth of an inch in any end position. Therefore I have the feeling, when holding it like a remote, that it's a bit waggly.

The keyboard is foil based which means that it has hard pressure points. But anyhow I have the feeling that some buttons have to be pushed harder than others to be recognized and sometimes appear twice afterwards. Unfortunately the keyboard has no backlight which shouldn't be a problem with the used technology. Writing in a badly lit environment is nearly impossible as there are also no navigation hints on F and J as on common keyboards. Typing URLs and short messages are ok as the writing speed is rather slow, limited by the used technology. Anyway it's still much faster than writing with the dualshock controller.

Basically it can be used as a controller as it has two thumb sticks for the right and left analogue sticks, which looks like the one on a PSP. Playing might be difficult anyway as the shoulderbuttons are above the sicks on the keyboard and difficult to reach while using the sticks.

I would recommend that remote to people who want a remote control for their PS3 and who have not already a wireless keyboard attached, or who want to have the possibility to write some messages from the couch without the need of a table.

In summery I have to say that the remote is ok. It's not a technical highlight nor a very high-class manufactured device. Therefore I give 3 stars as for 20£ there is no backlight function and the latching mechanism of the slide panel is a bit sloppy.

AVOID this one
3-in-1 Media Remote (PS3)

Decide to return this unit straightaway. Build quality is rubbish, the clear black olastic is very scratched even upon arrival, and unused for the first time. The back unit does clip firmly to the front, so there is a 'bulge' in the middel and slight gap where the two pieces should join. The black plastic adhesive back plugs are badly stuck on, and come off easily.
Idea is great, and there must be demand for such a device. it is just that this one is not very good.

Don't bother - Wait for a quality Sony one
Firstly I was disappointed by the cheap feel of this remote - especially the battery cover which seemed too difficult to clip in and out due to the cheap plastic, and will probably be broken off in a couple of months.

The next thing I tried was logging into Facebook on the PS3...in the end it took me around 15 very frustrating minutes to get my email address and password typed in on the QWERTY keyboard !!
Typing a none-visible password of letters and numbers, was a nightmare ! You could see that some keypresses were ignored, and some were entered twice(that seemed to happen a lot as you let go of the NUM shift key).
Finding the @(at) sign took some doing as well...it didn't match the printing on the keys!
Selecting links on the internet did not work with the QWERTY's X button, but did with the large X key on the outside of the remote !?

Next I decided to see if it was at least useful for watching DVDs...put one in, got to the main menu, and could NOT find any button on the front which would start the movie !! Maybe it was because I was losing the will to live by now, but I tried all the buttons on the front like start, select, X, play> etc.. but none would make it start. At this, I gave up and shipped it straight back to Amazon.

Seeing another review on here makes me wonder if I just got a dodgy unit, but I would not risk it again. I'd much prefer to wait and buy something quality from Sony.

Intec Wii Fit Balance Board Rechargeable Battery (Wii)

Superb!
I got this item for the wii fit .... It was delivered a day after I placed the order in time for the release date of the wii fit.

My Friend also has a Wii Fit and he has just gone through his 1st set of batterys, I have only charged this once so far and I have had a good 12 hours of use from it, it also fits the wii fit flush which is an added bonus. This really does save my pocket money and with the wii fit saves my stomach as well. Superb Product 5 Stars would recommend to any one with a Wii Fit

Will pay for itself in no time
I've had my wii balance board for a while now and not actually had to change the batteries yet but at such a good price I thought I would get this rechargable pack.

It looks well made with good enough plastic not to break when fitting it. Which was good as it did take a bit of a shove to get it in. The reason it that you are really trying to put 4 batteries in at once plus the cover.

The lead to connect it to the Wii (connects to one of the USB ports in the back of the wii) is nice and long (about a metre) which was plently long enough for me to feed it through the TV cabinet, where I keep my wii and down onto the floor where I keep the balance board. I actually charged it up with the board upside down but I think the connection is small enough to let you keep the board the right way up with the plug underneath.

There is a small red light that goes blue when it is charged and this didn't take very long at all. One thing, I did have to switch the wii on for it to charge.

I don't know about how long the charge holds yet as it's still going strong after about 10 hours of use.

All in all, much better than having to buy batteries all the time so worth buying, especially at such a good price.

If you have a Wii fit this is a must have, you don't need batteries again
